Michelle Nixon is a St. Louisan who loves to write. She thought her friends and others may like to read what she writes. At the very least, she can type faster than she can write with a pen, so it feels good to get thoughts out into words.

Michelle spends her time doing digital marketing, refining what it means to be the type of wife and mother she hopes to be, learning to manage grief and loss, practicing peace and meditation, moving as much as possible through boot camp, yoga and walks

What have I written lately?

Points of Interest

The Minimalists make a lot of sense

Have you seen The Minimalists specials on Netflix? Check them out – they prompted me to listen to their podcast and create actual space and freedom in my world!

Buddhism isn’t necessarily just a religion

Did you know the Dalai Lama said, “you don’t have to use Buddhism to be a better Buddhist, you can use it to be a better whatever-you-already-are”

Trello is one way I manage my energy

“How do you keep track of it all?” I live and die by my Trello boards.

This is how I log and prioritize work, home tasks, kids stuff, bills, grocery checklists.

I sit in front of the screen for work….a lot. I can visually manage the flow of my work and my personal responsibilities from the keyboard or later from the palm of my hand using the app.

I. LOVE. TRELLO. To know me is to know this.
And they have fabulously useful blog posts.
